Since 2016 we have handled the three things that most often delay a powder order.
Titanium powders and other controlled metal powders can fall under China's dual-use export controls. A covered powder needs a licence before it ships — samples included. We check classification at quotation and prepare the application with our manufacturing partner.
Carriers ask for a transport classification report and SDS before they accept powder. We arrange the tests, packing and labelling, and choose air, sea or courier routes that accept the material.
Invoice, packing list, COA, SDS, licence and end-user statement must describe the same grade, quantity and use. We prepare them as one set so customs and carriers do not stop the shipment.
